<p>Total of 10.25 inches lost and 13 lbs down.  WOW in 30 days mind you!  That was with a shoulder injury too!</p>

<p>And I hope to continue to do some changes.  Right now taking a break and then what&#8217;s next , I am not sure, but I will be a member of the Dax Moy Community.  Meltdown people are still there and now so are the M.A.P. members as well.  The support that you get from the community and your friends are such an important part of reaching goals.  Kristie, Karen, and Stacey at boot camp.   Annette, Robin, Sarah, and lots more with Dax, how can I not make it?  I will be what I want to be-I just have to decide!</p>
<p>I am not sure what I am going to do with this blog-I think that I have to learn a lot more about this site to really make a go of this, maybe I will continue and update, we&#8217;ll see. I just have to decide!</p>

<p>Just a quick update.  I am working my tush off to beat this plateau that I seem to be caught up in.  I worked hard in boot camp and am struggling with the shoulder on top of that.  I am in the process of trying some topical ointment because I am not really a person who takes medication if I can avoid it.  So far it is tight and when I go to do the push up I fall to the ground.  Ben has taken the push up out of boot camp and I am not going to do them until the start up on the next boot camp.  Right now I think that it is muscle strain so I keep pushing through it.  But they ache all day long.  No pain no gain?</p>
<p>The plateau is +2 and -2 and I rock back and forth with the high carb day and the fast day.  I am looking for a way to bust through this with only 8, now 7, days left.  I have a week- I want to bust this!!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Like the title states, it has been a while since I have been on my own blog.  I have been blogging within the site of londonpersonaltrainingstudio.com and I have been doing that much more than other blogs.  It is hard to keep up with both.  Since this blog doesn&#8217;t even get looked at- for the most part- I have been there instead of here.</p>
<p>But there needs to be an update for one reader that may be interested.  I haven&#8217;t had too much trouble with the food aspect of the program.  When I am to do something low carb, other than giving up greek yogart, I haven&#8217;t had too much trouble.  I am struggling with nuts and seeds.  They are a packed bullet and I have become addicted to these for sure.  This happened the last time too.  They are a great source of good fat, and they help with getting the right kind of nutrients and fat.  BUT they are soooo addicting that I have trouble leaving them alone!  These can impact my progress if not VERY careful.</p>
<p>As far as the exercise, I&#8217;m doing well.  I have an imbalance in my day, I do the first workout first thing in the morning.  Then I go about my day until boot camp or 4 or 5 o&#8217;clock, then I try to squeeze in the rest.  I know that it is only 15 minutes at a time, but gosh that last one is always shoved in at the end of the day.  I want to fix that starting tomorrow.  I have a plan now. I once had someone tell me that failing to plan is planning to fail.  That is such a word of wisdom!  I want to teach this to my Cub Scouts too.  As a Webelo they need to have planning as part of their program-this should really spread the wealth!</p>
<p>Well for the good news, I have yet to take measurements, BUT the weight is down from 155 to 143.  That is 12 pounds down ladies and gents!  Not including the change that just might happen tomorrow.   I have been plataueing here for a couple of days now.  It could be the nuts.  But Given that today is the 23rd of June I am on day 17 and in 17 days I have lost 12 pounds!!!  That is something, the program so works!  It works deep too.  Here&#8217;s a hint for you too, check out the benefits of coconut oil, verses other oils.  Not only does it taste different, but this could change the way you cook many many foods!  If you do, let me know too, cause I want the good stuff too!</p>
<p>The only real difficulty I am having is muscle fatigue.  My limbs are fatigued and I often have to walk up the stairs pretty slowly.  The supplements may help with this.  I am hoping, but I am not letting it stop me.  I have become so active lately, yesterday is a great example of this.  I  went kayaking for 2 hours, then I sat on the beach and read a book for an hour.  Of course I went for a run and I did all four workouts.  What a great (active) day!</p>
<p>In retrospect, thanks to first boot camp, metabolism makeover, and now Dax Moy, I am gaining control of my weight issues.  &#8220;I&#8217;ll get by with a little help from my friends.&#8221;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You know, I have been doing some thinking about this weight loss and fitness stuff.  I have been in the process of loosing weight for 2+ years and have done a bang-up job.  I have had tough times where I had regained a few pounds and then took them off again.  This time is different.  I put on quite a few pounds and am having a dickens of a time trying to get them back off.  I have been struggling for months now, as a friend named Christy really knows.</p>
<p>I am so thankful for a round two with Dax.  The results last time were fast and great, and I am hoping that I come to understand what I was doing and where do I want to go with this so that the change is long term and not just until the next diet or something comes along.</p>

<p>Weight 155 as of this morning (5 pounds over night-two parties, and a family gathering- I can&#8217;t believe how quickly it goes on and takes forever to come off-BUT-You can&#8217;t wail on the scale if you cheat when you eat.It&#8217;s got to be water weight too!)  10.75 Arm  37 belly button measurement, hip 40, that doesn&#8217;t seem right but did it a couple of times too??? 4&#8242; thigh 18.5 and 8&#8242; thigh 21.75.   Who knows-there they all are for the whole world to see.  yuk!  time for bed!</p>

<p>he last couple of months, I have not been true to myself and that I am struggling to stay were I ended up in Feb of this year.  I do believe that I lost sight of what I want.  My thinking changed too-to feeling deprived and &#8220;ripped off&#8221; and asking all kinds of justification questions like &#8220;How come I can never be &#8220;normal&#8221; again, and have what I want when I want?&#8221;  &#8220;&#8230;you only live once and so&#8230;&#8221; and so many other thoughts and attitudes towards food and eating.</p>
<p>When I was really heavy, I never had the junk food.  I always passed up the cake and ice cream at parties, I didn&#8217;t do that stuff to myself.  I was the one having the fruits and vegetables and more of the healthy stuff.</p>
<p>Now; now is different.  If there is a baked good or pastry, I am so there.  I have eaten that stuff since I reached my goal of 130 and justifying it with, I&#8217;m skinny now so I can, I&#8217;m entitled, I&#8217;ll work it off later, and more.</p>
<p>Now + 20 lbs since then, maybe I can&#8217;t.  I have to get back to where I find my reason why am I doing this. Why aren&#8217;t I pushing myself to loose the weight I just put on?  Why aren&#8217;t I working harder at boot camp and I know that I am letting myself down.  I have some mental work to do.  I need to get back and find the support and focus that I had before so I can get there.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well I am very pleased with the results, was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!  I took down my target pants and guess what?  Drum roll please&#8211;they are too big!  They are too loose in the waist by at least 2 inches!  That&#8217;s what I&#8217;m talking about!!!  Even though the numbers don&#8217;t match what the pants show I&#8217;m hooping and hollering!   Here are the numbers:</p>
<p>Pounds 130 (down 11 lbs) Chest 33.5 (down 2.5inch) Natural waist 26.5 (down 1 inch) Belly button waist 29 (down 2.5 inch) Hip 35 (down 1 inch) Arm 9.75 (up .5) Thigh Low 16 (down .75) Thigh high 19 (down .5)</p>
<p>grand total 8.25 inches lost over all. (The arm is not accurate so not included-my measurement skills, one handed, didn&#8217;t improve either.) My arm definition is one of my best features of work so I am not too worried about that at all-but I will say they are stronger and I can feel it when the weight is now too light and I need a heavier kettlebell or dumbbell.  Even though the joints are sore and I am ready for a break.  I&#8217;ll go for the last 5 pounds after a time off.</p>
<p>I have always said I&#8217;m in it for the long haul and I don&#8217;t have to have it right now.  In a month is ok, or two.  I have to learn how to maintain so that I don&#8217;t yo yo!  I know that the holidays were difficult for that and the Dax Moy program at WWW.londonspersonaltrainingstudio.com came right along so that the holiday weight gain didn&#8217;t sit on me for months before it was gone again.  If nothing else let me make the recommendation that you go to the site and sign up for is inspirational emails.  You receive emails with short (mostly) but so true tellings that inspire you to keep doing going or being.  They are what started this whole process and you can follow what Dax does.  You don&#8217;t have to buy or participate in any of his programs.  But just the inspirational sayings are uplifting and <strong><em>so powerful</em></strong>.</p>
<p>I am going to keep blogging here for at least a couple weeks because there is a follow up program to do and Dax did say that it is not uncommon to drop another 5 -7 pounds during this time.  So I will keep going and keep you updated!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I see a pattern developing here.  I seem to get on when I have news to share about numbers.  Yup it is numbers time again and sad to report is that there was no change.  I actually gained 2 pounds, but no inches or any other change.  I always plateau here and I have a heck of a time breaking through this stage.  It&#8217;s the last 5 pounds.</p>
<p>I was talking with a friend who  politely and positively told me that I really didn&#8217;t need to loose any more.  She is right in a way.  I really don&#8217;t.  I haven&#8217;t been this fit and healthy in all my life.  I have a huge definition in my arms and legs.  My husband tells me I now have &#8220;dancers legs&#8221;, and I think that my arms are one of my best evidence of fitness.  I am off all medications that use to dictate my schedule and daily activity.  I am skating again.  I am considering going to the ISI Worlds in Bridgewater Mass on the competitive level again-who could ask for your WORLD back.</p>

<p>I want that last bit gone, I don&#8217;t want my hips to do jumping jacks without me!  I know that there is no such thing as spot reducing (now I do anyway)  so the only way to get that last bit of jiggle to firm up-love those exercises! That is the only way to go!  No I am not 19 anymore, no I am not looking to be perfect, or looking for a perfect scale number either.  I guess I really want my health and that last bit is there as a reminder what 225 was and I don&#8217;t want that there.  My skin on my stomach will never firm up-most likely-given 3 births-if there was a way to change that I think I&#8217;d try something there.  The only thing I have ever heard of was a tummy tuck and I am not that vain.  So I think I have a healthy perspective and a realistic goal.  So do I have to hit that 100 mark, No, but can I? The body is an amazing thing?</p>
<p>Only 5 days left on the meltdown.  Friday is the last day and I want to push it to the end!  No letting up, no giving in anymore, Push hard cause rest is next! Going for it in the last stage of the fight!  Then it is maintenance-which is more difficult even!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sorry that I have been away, but blogging with Dax and doing this blog takes a lot of time so this one has gone a little by the way side.  My weight is down 10 lbs, my waist is down .25 more.  So there is wiggling room.  But what I also realized with the measuring is that I don&#8217;t do it well.  I noticed this morning that I didn&#8217;t have the tape measure evenly around the waist or leg.  I could have done this in the past which could explain why numbers come up bizarre.<br />
I am still hanging in there and still working hard at the elimination diet, and all the wonderful exercises that are new and improved.  Timing of these have improved and I am getting stronger for sure.  My pants are now fitting differently, right where I&#8217;d really like to firm up so I must be making progress even though the tape measure and scale are not showing what the cloths are.<br />
This is day 22 and that means only 8 days left.  I can&#8217;t believe how tough this has been but also how driven and focused this has helped me stay.  I was reading some e-articles about elimination diets and more and there is a lot to be said for this diet type.  Too much here for a blog, but there are several sites that give you this information.  But when your ready to do one, go to www.londonpersonaltrainingstudio.com There at least there is a cook book, support, people who have been through it to answer all the questions and more.  I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but that is how much I believe that this is the program that is driving my results and the people attached to the program.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Guess what, yup, it is number time again.  Since I messed up and measured on the wrong day there was only two days between measurements.  So, saying that I didn&#8217;t think that there was going to be a big change. Well-wrong! Here they are!</p>
<p>Body Weight 133 (-8lbs, but same from last time) chest and Natural waist is also the same as last time.  The belly button waist is 29 up 1 inch???? but up 1.5 from day 1???? Bizarre because my pants are more loose and I have to tug on them now??? I wonder about my measuring skills? I digress, Arm is 10 (-.25 from last time, but up .75 from day 1) lower thigh 16.5 (-1 inch, from both days) and Mid thigh 19 (-1 inch from day 16, but -.5 from day 1).</p>
<p>So there you have them in all their glory.  Making progress but some confusing results.  Strength has been good except walking up stairs-boy do I feel that!  I get to the top and my legs are tired! I recover quickly.  My shoulder is improving and I can lift a little more weight now.  I&#8217;m not favoring it the way I was before.  So it is improving.</p>
<p>Overall, I have been here before-this is where I start to plateau and hang out until I get discouraged and gain or talk myself out of pushing through it because it really gets hard to go beyond my limit.  I am hoping the new menu and exercises will help break through this and go back to where I was. I have 8 more pounds to lose to hit 100!  I know I can do it! Question is how to stay motivated to get there if I start to plateau again.</p>

<p>Well this weekend went great but I was exhausted by Sunday night.  I didn&#8217;t get hurt and I learned a great deal from some top notch coaches!  THANKS to Svet and Steve for that opportunity!  Spending two days with top coaches is like spending two days -personally with Dax. I&#8217;d pay for a two day clinic with this coach for sure!</p>
<p>This weekend interfered with checking in with Dax, but I think I have devised a plan to catch up.  We&#8217;ll see how this goes!  I really like the program cause it doesn&#8217;t get stale and he is constantly changing things up so workout and diets are different and keep you going and guessing.  But you got to get over to see some of the items at www.londonpersonaltrainingstudio.com or just click on the link to the right!</p>
<p>There is only 12 days left, and measurements coming tomorrow!  So keep coming along for the ride! It is very much like a roller coaster-high, low, and always exciting!</p>
